Group feedback

Myself and my group recently watched a host of other media projects in various schools from other pupils.
We were asked to rate these projects and give them a grade, and this is what we came up with during the lesson.

The first video we watched was very good in terms of the location and camera angles used, but could have improved with better editing and use of sound.
What I am trying to get at here is that the sound was happy and was not suitable for a film in the Thriller genre, and the bright light did not produce a negative atmosphere.
After taking this into account I gave the project D as I felt significant improvements could be made.

The second video that we watched was much better, as it had great lighting as well as suitable sound effects and elements, along with great camera shots and mise en scene.

Textual analysis on the movie Se7en

This is the textual analysis on the Movie Se7en. It involves in depth analysis on the Mise-En-Scene, sound and Camera Angle elements used in the extract we have been given.

One Page Pitch

This is a script for the One Page Pitch which we went on to record the next day. This involves our ideas for our project and what roles each of us play in the group. The video to accompany this will be uploaded in due course.

Audience Theories

These are the different ways which media is received by audiences and how messages are sent through various methods.

Conventions of a Thriller

This is my research on what I consider to be conventions of a thriller. I had to initially take this away from my blog as it failed to work. Enjoy!
